the ludo room
Over ten years ago, French artist Ludovic Thiriez was painting in Budapest in what then became Brody House, where he received valuable guidance from Étienne de Fleurieu. Ludovic also lived in Brazil for a while, where he became inspired by its luxuriant vegetation. He is now based in Budapest and has his own studio near Rákoczy square. In autumn 2018, Ludo won the prestigious Luxembourg Art Prize which was launched by famous art collector and President of the Pinacothèque in Luxembourg Hervé Lancelin.
